DESCRIPTION:In the context of the auralization of acoustic scenes in outdoor scenarios\, the effects of the atmosphere on sound propagation are of crucial importance. Ray tracing is a common method for tracking paths between sources and receivers and can be used to compute atmospheric transfer functions when the height-dependent physical properties of the atmosphere are known.
