SUMMARY:Abi Raad: Transfer path analysis of Ultrasonic Metal Welding
DESCRIPTION:Ultrasonic Metal Welding (USMW) is a technique used for numerous industrial applications. However\, the welding process is in fact poorly known\, leading to unexplained variations of strength.\nThis presentation will show some recent work about studying the welding process based on measurements and the most recent model from the literature. From the literature model\, a theoretical transfer function was derived.
