SUMMARY:Lautenbach: The acoustical design process of a classical concert hall
DESCRIPTION:In this talk we will follow the acoustical investigations in the design process of a classical concert hall\, from the first talk with the client\, listening to several halls\, setting the goals\, acoustic modelling: computational and with a scale model\, the interaction with the architect\, construction and HVAC engineers\, to the measurements and first rehearsals of the finished hall. Of course\, we will also compare the outcome of the hall to the goals and the models. The new Casals Forum of the Kronberg Academy is in this talk the underlying hall that will be used as an example.
