The IHTA was represented there with 22 presentations and seven posters. The researchers presented their work in eleven different subject areas. This shows the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.akustik.rwth-aachen.de\/cms\/Institut-fuer-Hoertechnik-und-Akustik\/~dwmc\/Forschung\/\">broad range of topics the Institute covers<\/a> in hearing technology and acoustics.<\/p>\n<p>During the conference, the technical committees of the Deutsche Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Akustik e.V. (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dega-akustik.de\/\">DEGA<\/a>) met. In the technical committee <em>H\u00f6rtechnik<\/em> (Hearing Acoustics) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.akustik.rwth-aachen.de\/cms\/Institut-fuer-Hoertechnik-und-Akustik\/Das-Institut\/Team\/Medak-Team\/~ebja\/Janina-Fels\/\">Professor Janina Fels<\/a> handed over the chair position after six years. Besides, the technical group <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dega-akustik.de\/junge-dega\"><em>Junge DEGA<\/em><\/a> selected <a href=\"https:\/\/www.akustik.rwth-aachen.de\/go\/id\/jfqdq\">Simon Kersten<\/a> as its new chairman.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.akustik.rwth-aachen.de\/go\/id\/myjqa\">Jonas Heck<\/a>, who was elected as deputy, supports him in this position.<\/p>\n<p>After the dinner at the social evening on Wednesday, the IHTA Band performed two songs from their repertoire. On Thursday, a small group took the opportunity to participate in an excursion to the Elbphilharmonie.
