{"id":2574,"date":"2023-04-27T17:10:41","date_gmt":"2023-04-27T15:10:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.rwth-aachen.de\/akustik\/?p=2574"},"modified":"2023-10-16T11:30:14","modified_gmt":"2023-10-16T09:30:14","slug":"new-publication-on-hrtfs-in-journal-of-the-audio-engineering-society","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.rwth-aachen.de\/akustik\/new-publication-on-hrtfs-in-journal-of-the-audio-engineering-society\/","title":{"rendered":"New publication on HRTFs in Journal of the Audio Engineering Society"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We are happy to announce that the article \u201cA magnitude-based parametric model predicting the audibility of HRTF variation\u201d by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.akustik.rwth-aachen.de\/cms\/Institut-fuer-Hoertechnik-und-Akustik\/Das-Institut\/Team\/Medak-Team\/~sifc\/Shaimaa-Doma\/\">Shaima\u2019a Doma<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.akustik.rwth-aachen.de\/cms\/Institut-fuer-Hoertechnik-und-Akustik\/Das-Institut\/Team\/Medak-Team\/~mykbg\/Cosima-Ermert\/\">Cosima Ermert<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.akustik.rwth-aachen.de\/cms\/Institut-fuer-Hoertechnik-und-Akustik\/Das-Institut\/Team\/Medak-Team\/~ebja\/Janina-Fels\/\">Janina Fels<\/a> has been recently published in the Journal of the Audio Engineering Society (JAES) as part of the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.aes.org\/journal\/pdfs\/2022\/JAES_V70_1_2_PG96.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Special Issue on \u201cSpatial Audio\u201d<\/a>. The study examines just noticeable differences in HRTFs with a focus on monaural cue changes.
