{"id":3243,"date":"2024-11-27T11:40:15","date_gmt":"2024-11-27T10:40:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.rwth-aachen.de\/akustik\/?p=3243"},"modified":"2024-11-27T11:40:15","modified_gmt":"2024-11-27T10:40:15","slug":"aachen-acoustics-colloquium-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.rwth-aachen.de\/akustik\/aachen-acoustics-colloquium-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"Aachen Acoustics Colloquium 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Currently the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aachen-acoustics-colloquium.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">15<sup>th<\/sup> Aachen Acoustics Colloquium<\/a> is taking place at Parkhotel Quellenhof in Aachen. This year&#8217;s scientific program includes 26 interesting contributions (2 Keynotes, 18 presentations and 6 poster presentations) about current research within the area of automotive acoustics, accompanied by a technical exhibition from various companies and research institutes. A detailed overview of the program can be found <a href=\"https:\/\/aachen-acoustics-colloquium.com\/images\/downloads\/programs\/Program-AAC-2024.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">in this PDF<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Our institute is part of the organizing team of this event, which is attended by around 190 persons (~170 in-person and 22 online). On Tuesday morning, Michael Vorl\u00e4nder chaired the session &#8222;Infotainment in the vehicle&#8220; including a very interesting keynote presentation by <a href=\"http:\/\/www-i6.informatik.rwth-aachen.de\/web\/Staff\/ney\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hermann Ney<\/a> on the current progress in speech and language technology.
