It was organized by the Brazilian Association for Acoustical Quality (ProAc\u00fastica) in collaboration with the International Institute of Noise Control Engineering (I-INCE) and the Brazilian Society of Acoustics (SOBRAC). <a href=\"https:\/\/www.akustik.rwth-aachen.de\/cms\/Institut-fuer-Hoertechnik-und-Akustik\/Das-Institut\/Team\/TA-Team\/~dzus\/Vorlaender\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Michael Vorl\u00e4nder<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.akustik.rwth-aachen.de\/cms\/Institut-fuer-Hoertechnik-und-Akustik\/Das-Institut\/Team\/TA-Team\/~myjqa\/Jonas-Heck\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jonas Heck<\/a> contributed to the session <strong>Soundscape in built environments<\/strong> with the following presentations:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-dtype=\"d3ifr\" data-local-attribute=\"d3bn\" data-attrid=\"title\" data-ved=\"2ahUKEwj1q5SD8tiPAxUyVfEDHXG1IAwQ3B0oAHoECGwQAQ\">Michael Vorl\u00e4nder, Lukas Asp\u00f6ck, Janina Fels: <strong>Applications of IHTA\u2019s Virtual Acoustics Tools for Soundscape Research<\/strong><\/li>\n<li data-dtype=\"d3ifr\" data-local-attribute=\"d3bn\" data-attrid=\"title\" data-ved=\"2ahUKEwj1q5SD8tiPAxUyVfEDHXG1IAwQ3B0oAHoECGwQAQ\">Jonas Heck, \u00a0Michael Vorl\u00e4nder, Janina Fels, Josep Llorca-Bof\u00ed, Julio Cesar Boscher Torres, Roberto Esteban Campos Ruiz: <strong>An Approach to a Virtual Reality Representation of the Copacabana Soundscape<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"qrShPb pXs6bb PZPZlf q8U8x aTI8gc\" data-dtype=\"d3ifr\" data-local-attribute=\"d3bn\" data-attrid=\"title\" data-ved=\"2ahUKEwj1q5SD8tiPAxUyVfEDHXG1IAwQ3B0oAHoECGwQAQ\">A special feature of the conference were the so-called silent sessions, which offered a unique experience for both speakers and the audience. This concept allowed three speakers to give their presentations simultaneously in the same room by streaming the audio via wireless headphones. The visit to the spectacular concert hall Sala S\u00e3o Paulo marked the end of the conference.<\/p>\n<p data-dtype=\"d3ifr\" data-local-attribute=\"d3bn\" data-attrid=\"title\" data-ved=\"2ahUKEwj1q5SD8tiPAxUyVfEDHXG1IAwQ3B0oAHoECGwQAQ\">After the InterNoise, Jonas visited the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fee.unicamp.br\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\"><span dir=\"auto\">Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering (FEEC) at the State University of Campinas<\/span><\/span> (Unicamp)<\/a> in Campinas, which is located in the proximity of S\u00e3o Paulo. At Unicamp, the former IHTA staff member <a href=\"https:\/\/masiero.fee.unicamp.br\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bruno Masiero<\/a> establishes a new acoustics laboratory including a
