{"id":3829,"date":"2025-12-09T12:06:17","date_gmt":"2025-12-09T11:06:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.rwth-aachen.de\/akustik\/?p=3829"},"modified":"2025-12-09T12:07:15","modified_gmt":"2025-12-09T11:07:15","slug":"paad-in-berlin-philharmonie","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.rwth-aachen.de\/akustik\/paad-in-berlin-philharmonie\/","title":{"rendered":"PAAD: Visual documentation of Berlin Philharmonie"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>PAAD &#8222;Person-focused Acoustics of Architectural Design&#8220; research group has recently visited Berlin Philharmonie to capture 3D data of the auditorium for the <a href=\"https:\/\/zenodo.org\/records\/15409976\">MUSKLA Database<\/a>: a growing collection of narrow angle and spherical photographs of major concert halls in Europe.\u00a0 The goal is to support state of the art multimodal perceptual studies in auditoriums by providing a reference database accessible to the scientific community. In collaboration with our colleagues from <em>Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Catalunya<\/em> and Fraunhofer-Institut f\u00fcr Bauphysik<em>,<\/em> our team was able to conduct a comprehensive 3D capture of the auditorium.<\/p>\n<p>We documented the auditorium combining imaging techniques to ensure both geometrical accuracy and photorealistic texture:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;
