Schlittmeier<\/span>, <span id=\"aacus250139-author-3\" class=\"author author-orcid\" data-url=\"\/component\/author\/?dkey=10.1051\/aacus\/2026003&amp;n=3\">Andrea B\u00f6nsch<\/span>, <span id=\"aacus250139-author-4\" class=\"author author-orcid\" data-url=\"\/component\/author\/?dkey=10.1051\/aacus\/2026003&amp;n=4\">Torsten W. Kuhlen<\/span> and <span id=\"aacus250139-author-5\" class=\"author author-orcid\" data-url=\"\/component\/author\/?dkey=10.1051\/aacus\/2026003&amp;n=5\">Janina Fels is part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spp2236-audictive.de\/\">SPP 2236 &#8211; Audictive Project.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Using the <a href=\"https:\/\/publications.rwth-aachen.de\/record\/958449\/\">Heard-Text-Recall (HTR) paradigm<\/a> in a dual-task design, this paper evaluates the relevance of semantic meaningful background speech compared to pseudo speech in virtual reality (VR).
