At the Institute for Hearing Technology and Acoustics (IHTA)<\/a> at RWTH Aachen University, we study sound from its physical foundations to its perception by the human auditory system. Study Acoustics<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The Bachelor\u2019s program<\/a><\/strong> introduces the fundamentals of sound waves, spatial hearing, room acoustics, and psychoacoustics. In the Master\u2019s program<\/strong>, students can specialize in areas such as Technical Acoustics<\/em><\/a>, \u00a0Hearing Technology, Audiology and Voice<\/em><\/a>, Psychoacoustics and Methods for Listening Experiments<\/em><\/a>, Acoustic Virtual Reality<\/em><\/a>,\u00a0 Electroacoustics<\/em><\/a>, and an Intensive Course on Room Acoustics<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Hands-on Experience<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Labs, seminars, and project work enable students to apply theory to practical problems, including virtual acoustic scenes, measurements, and listening experiments.<\/p>\n

Your Future<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Graduates can pursue careers in a wide range of fields, such as immersive audio (VR\/AR), product sound design, environmental acoustics, or research and development.<\/p>\n
