In 147 strukturierten Sitzungen wurden ca. 1.300 Tagungsbeitr\u00e4ge\nals Vortr\u00e4ge und Poster pr\u00e4sentiert. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Am 09.09. wurde die Tagung von den Conference Chairs (Prof.\nMichael Vorl\u00e4nder und Prof. Janina Fels) feierlich er\u00f6ffnet, umrahmt durch\nMusik von Lily Dahab und ihrer Band. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>F\u00fcnf Plenarvortr\u00e4ge wurden von hochkar\u00e4tigen\nWissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftlern gehalten:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Marion\nBurgess (Sydney, Australien): \u201cSound and Noise around us\u201c<\/li><li>Shrikanth\nNarayanan (Los Angeles, USA): \u201cSounds of the human vocal instrument\u201c<\/li><li>Christopher\nWiebusch &amp; Tim Otto Roth (Aachen\/K\u00f6ln): \u201cAstroparticle Immersive\nSynthesizer\u00b3 or how cosmic \u201aghost particles\u2018 inspire a novel concept of\nspatialisation of sound\u201c<\/li><li>J\u00e9r\u00e9mie\nVoix (Montreal, Kanada, Preistr\u00e4ger des ICA Early Career Awards): \u201cThe ear at\nthe age of IoT\u201d<\/li><li>Maria\nHeckl (Keele, England): \u201cThermoacoustic instabilities \u2013 physical mechanisms and\nmathematical modelling\u201d<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Neben dem umfangreichen wissenschaftlichen Hauptprogramm gab es\ndiverse zus\u00e4tzliche Ereignisse, zum Beispiel die Aktivit\u00e4ten der \u201eEAA Young\nAcousticians, YAN\u201c mit der jDEGA und vielen anderen Gruppen des\nwissenschaftlichen Nachwuchses. Ferner gab es eine Diskussionsrunde zum Thema\nWissenschaftskommunikation mit eingeladenen Experten, eine Kontaktb\u00f6rse mit\nIndustrievertretern zum Thema Karrierewege f\u00fcr den wissenschaftlichen und\nprofessionellen Nachwuchs in der Akustik sowie die \u201e5-minute Research Story\nCompetition\u201c, die Mathieu Gaborit (KTH Stockholm) mit einem Beitrag zur\nModellierung von geschichteten Absorbern am sehr unterhaltsamen Beispiel von\nTiramisu gewonnen hat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Das Rahmenprogramm der Tagung umfasste ein Orgelkonzert im Aachener Dom mit dem Domorganist Michael Hoppe sowie eine gesellige Abendveranstaltung im Kunstmuseum \u201eLudwig Forum\u201c, bei der auch eine internationale Jam Session musikalische Akzente setzte. Behler \/ ITA<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Begleitet wurde die Tagung durch eine internationale\nAusstellung mit Vertretern aus Industrie und Forschung mit insgesamt 58\nSt\u00e4nden. Die Vertreter an den St\u00e4nden berichteten von einem unerwartet gro\u00dfen\nInteresse des internationalen Publikums.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vor dem ICA-Kongress fand im belgischen Leuven die \u201eEAA Summer\nSchool\u201c f\u00fcr junge Akustikerinnen und Akustiker mit 114 Teilnehmenden statt, die\nvon Monika Rychtarikova und Armin Kohlrausch organisiert wurde. Vom 6. bis 8. September wurden neben\ndem Kurs \u201eIntroductory Course \u2013 Approaching Acoustics\u201d vier \u201cHot Topics\u201d-Kurse zu\n\u201cComputational modeling in physiological and psychological acoustics\u201d, \u201cSmart\ncity sound\u201d, \u201cAcoustic metamaterials and sonic crystals\u201d und \u201cAcoustic imaging\n(laser, beamforming, time reversal, photoacoustics)\u201d angeboten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Auch die weiteren Satellite-Symposien (EAA Spatial Audio Signal Processing Symposium in Paris, International Symposium on Room Acoustics in Amsterdam, International Symposium on Musical Acoustics in Detmold) wurden von den Teilnehmenden gut angenommen, so dass der Monat September 2019 insgesamt sehr reichhaltig an internationalen Veranstaltungen rund um die Akustik war.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dieser Artikel erschien im Akustik Jornal der DEGA, Ausgabe Nr. \/ Oktober 2019.
