Ultrasonic Metal Welding (USMW) is a technique used for numerous industrial ap\u0002plications. However, the welding process is in fact poorly known, leading to unexplained variations of strength.
\nThis presentation will show some recent work about studying the welding process based on measurements and the most recent model from the literature. From the literature model, a theoretical transfer function was derived. This transfer function was then compared to the measurements, and a percentage fit was calculated, to see how well the theoretical model fits the measurements.<\/p>\n
