The current internship was conducted under the department of precision technology and automation of IPT, which goal is to develop machines with very high level of accuracy. In this internship, a type of production machine called Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) machine is concerned, which assembles electronic components onto printed circuit boards automatically according to a given schedule. In this process, schedules of each assemble step can be optimized for a higher efficiency and shorter assembly time.
