In this way, they contribute to increasing the number of female scientists and students in courses with a low representation of women.<br \/>\nWe congratulate all the winners but are especially pleased for the two winners from our faculty. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.akustik.rwth-aachen.de\/cms\/Technische-Akustik\/Das-Institut\/Team\/Medak-Team\/~ebja\/Janina-Fels\/\">Professor Janina Fels<\/a> and Ms. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.akustik.rwth-aachen.de\/cms\/Institut-fuer-Hoertechnik-und-Akustik\/Das-Institut\/Team\/Medak-Team\/~ntwv\/Karin-Loh\/\">Karin Loh<\/a> from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.akustik.rwth-aachen.de\/cms\/~dwma\/Institut-fuer-Hoertechnik-und-Akustik\/\">Chair and Institute of Hearing Technology and Acoustics (IHTA)<\/a> were awarded for their initiative &#8220;The interactive world of acoustics for big and small children&#8221;. Here, concepts were developed that enable girls between the ages of three and twelve to explore and learn about hearing and acoustics in a playful and interactive way.<br \/>\nThe awards were presented in a total of four categories and are endowed with up to 2500 euros.
