Founded by Maximilian Odendahl, Johannes Emigholz, Dr. Weihua Sheng, Prof. Jeronimo Castrillon and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ice.rwth-aachen.de\/institute\/staff\/directors\/rainer-leupers\/\">Prof. Rainer Leupers<\/a> within the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.informatik.rwth-aachen.de\/cms\/Informatik\/Forschung\/DFG-gefoerderte-Programme\/~muyp\/Exzellenzcluster-UMIC\/lidx\/1\/#:~:text=The%20initial%20goal%20of%20the,of%20economic%20and%20innovation%20growth.\">UMIC Cluster of Excellence<\/a>, the start-up was initially funded through the BMBF&#8217;s EXIST- program, and early industrial technology sponsors included Huawei and Samsung.
