Through a unique combination of translational medical research, data science and computational intelligence, Clinomic GmbH aims to serve as an interface between medical professionals and databases. The result? Mona, the intelligent assistance system for intensive care units, which is designed to support nurses and doctors in the optimal treatment of their patients.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/clinomic.ai\/\">Clinomic GmbH<\/a> was founded in 2019 by an interdisciplinary research team. Among the founding members are <a href=\"http:\/\/www.isek.rwth-aachen.de\/ISEK_Anke.html\">Univ.-Prof. Anke Schmeink<\/a> from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.isek.rwth-aachen.de\/index.html\">the Department of Information Theory and Systematic Design of Communication Systems<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ice.rwth-aachen.de\/institute\/staff\/guest-professors\/guido-dartmann\/\">Prof. Guido Dartmann<\/a> from the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ice.rwth-aachen.de\/\">Institute for Communication Technologies and Embedded Systems<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/clinomic.ai\/team\/arne-peine\/\">Dr. med. Arne Peine<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/clinomic.ai\/team\/priv-doz-dr-med-lukas-martin\/\">Priv.-Doz. Lukas Martin<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/clinomic.ai\/team\/univ-prof-dr-med-gernot-marx-frca\/\">Univ.-Prof. Gernot Marx<\/a> from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ukaachen.de\/\">Universit\u00e4tsklinik Aachen<\/a> together with <a href=\"https:\/\/clinomic.ai\/team\/univ-prof-dr-med-christoph-thiemermann\/\">Univ.-Prof. Christoph Thiemermann<\/a> from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.qmul.ac.uk\/whri\/\">William Harvey Research Institute<\/a> of Queen Mary University of London.<\/p>\n<p>Since its launch, Clinomic GmbH has not only won the RWTH Spin-off Award 2019, but has also received funding of 1.6 million euros and is a partner of renowned companies such as Microsoft, NVIDIA and Google.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nowadays, patients receive comprehensive treatment from a number of qualified medical professionals.
