New year, new luck! In the third round of calls for proposals, the DFG’s expert panel has recommended funding for several NFDI consortia. RWTH Aachen University is also high on the list this year. Find out which NFDI consortia have received a recommendation in this blog post.<\/p>\n

Review<\/span><\/h3>\nAlready last year, a success story<\/a> could be announced: In the second round of calls, eight consortia with RWTH participation not only received a funding recommendation<\/a>, but were actually funded!<\/p>\nThe third round of calls for proposals<\/span><\/h3>\nWith regard to the third round of calls for proposals, the series of successes for RWTH Aachen University continues this year. The expert panel of the German Research Foundation (DFG<\/a>) recommended funding for three consortia with RWTH participation. Accordingly, the following NFDI consortia have a chance of being funded:<\/p>\n\n- NFDIxCS<\/a>,<\/li>\n
- NFDI4Energy<\/a>,<\/li>\n
- NFDI4Objects<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
In addition, the consortia NFDI4Agri (FAIRAgro)<\/a>, NFDI4Bioimage<\/a>, NFDI4Immuno<\/a> and NFDI4Memory<\/a> have also received a funding recommendation.<\/p>\nFunding will start on January 1, 2023. The final decision on possible funding will be made by the Joint Science Conference (GWK)<\/a> in November 2022.
