Next week, on January 11, 2023, starting at 10am, the first open meeting of the RDM network<\/a> in the new year will take place on the topic of DataLad<\/a> and the GIN-Tonic tool<\/a> online via Zoom. You should not miss this! For newcomers and those interested, we have summarised once again in our new blog post what the RDM network meeting is all about.<\/p>\n

What Is It About?<\/span><\/h3>\n

The interdisciplinary network meeting focuses on current topics in research data management (RDM). The aim of the meetings is to enable an exchange of frequently asked questions and best practices and to establish a coordinated (RDM)-network at RWTH Aachen University.<\/p>\n

The whole thing is aimed at data stewards, PhD students, postdocs, scientific staff and personnel from technology and administration who are strategically and practically involved with the implementation of RDM in their organisational unit.<\/p>\n

The History of the Network Meeting<\/span><\/h3>\n

The open network meeting was launched in February 2020. So next month, the two-year anniversary is just around the corner.<\/p>\n

While the first meetings were held in the university library of RWTH Aachen University, digital meetings via Zoom have been introduced in the meantime. Participation is therefore completely independent of location.<\/p>\n

The network meetings take place every second Wednesday of the month from 10am to 12 noon.<\/p>\n

Are you interested in the upcoming network meeting on “DataLad<\/strong>” and “GIN-Tonic Tool<\/strong>“? The RDM team is always happy to welcome new faces.<\/p>\n

To participate in the event, you can simply register online<\/a>. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email with the access data for the meeting.<\/p>\n
