In order to give researchers space and time for exchange and impulses, the National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI)<\/a> organizes regular Talks in which experts from various disciplines present exciting topics in research data management (RDM) such as new services, use cases, and more. In the current ToolTalk, Coscine<\/a> was the subject of the event!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The talks hosted by the NFDI take place regularly on Mondays from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., basically in English via Zoom. What’s special about them? To ensure that the precious presentations, conversations, and discussions among the participants do not get lost, the talks are streamed live on YouTube<\/a>, so that by archiving these livestreams, the talks can also be accessed afterwards.<\/p>\n What are the differences between the two formats? InfraTalk covers topics such as legal issues, education and training, and RDM standards. NFDI consortia can also present their work in this format. The ToolTalks, on the other hand, focus on specific services that are used and developed in the NFDI community.<\/p>\n Interested parties can register for upcoming Talks on the NFDI website<\/a>. To see when the next Talks are planned, see the schedule<\/a>.<\/p>\n In the last ToolTalk, which took place on March 20, 2023, Coscine<\/a> was in the spotlight. The content of the event was a live demonstration of the research data management platform with a focus on RDM standards in development.
