<\/a>Source: fdm.nrw<\/a><\/p><\/div><\/p>\n On 14 November 2023, the Research Data Day in NRW will celebrate its third birthday. This year, the motto is “Promoting and refining data: Bring your data treasure to light”. As in previous years, the RDM team at RWTH Aachen University will also be taking part in this state-wide day of action with an interesting afternoon programme. Make a note of the day now and celebrate with us!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Since the first Research Data Day in 2021, RWTH Aachen University has been involved and participates in the organisation of this state-wide day of action on research data management (RDM) together with the state initiative fdm.nrw and many other universities and university associations from NRW.<\/p>\n An attractive programme is planned again this year. In Aachen, we would like to address all RDM stakeholders and those interested in RDM to meet on site in Super C right next to the main building of RWTH Aachen University, to inform themselves, to discuss and to network.<\/p>\n Because data treasures are slumbering everywhere. Progressive developments and concepts in data processing and RDM reveal entirely new possibilities for the exploration and exploitation of data. Be inspired and share your perspectives and practical experiences with colleagues and the RDM team at RWTH.<\/p>\n As always, there will be a virtual, cross-site programme in the morning, moderated by fdm.nrw. In a keynote lecture and various lightning talks, researchers will present their experiences and best practices on RDM.<\/p>\n In the afternoon, the participating sites will design their own programme. This can include lectures, workshops or networking opportunities, take place online or on site, address a closed group of people or be open to all interested parties. Perhaps there is also something for you.<\/p>\n So be excited and make a note of the day in your diaries! We are already looking forward to hosting the Research Data Day on site and meeting you in person.
