The first DKZ.2R Data Competence College<\/strong> will take place at the end of March at the IT Center of RWTH Aachen University. From March 26 to 28, 2025<\/strong>, you will have three days to learn from selected data experts about research data and methods, to exchange ideas with each other, and to gain new insights into the handling and methodical analysis of data. Secure your place and benefit from the exchange of ideas with and between experts from different disciplines!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Data Competence College, organized by the team of the Rhein-Ruhr Center for Scientific Data Competence<\/a> (DKZ.2R), offers a space where scientists from the region, especially young scientists, can learn from data experts and exchange ideas about research data and methods.<\/p>\n Interesting keynotes will be given by invited data experts such as Prof. Sebastian Houben from the University of Applied Sciences Bonn-Rhein-Sieg (specialist in AI and autonomous systems) and Dr. Moritz Wolter from the University of Bonn (expert in high performance computing and machine learning).<\/p>\n In addition, 1:1 sessions between data experts and young scientists will be offered. The Data Competence College also offers participants the opportunity to present a poster on their current research focus, and there will be a number of different methodological and data-related workshops on the program.
