DKZ.2R’s RDM StackExchange<\/strong> has been relaunched in January 2025 – for you and with you! StackExchange is a platform for the exchange of information on specific topics. These can be topics for the hobby brewer, but also for scientific contexts. The more you contribute, the more useful and sustainable the platform will be for all users.<\/p>\n

What is the RDM StackExchange All About?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

If you follow our RDM blog, you will surely know that RDM stands for \u201cResearch Data Management\u201d.<\/p>\n

The RDM StackExchange<\/a> is thus an open platform for the exchange of information about RDM. It allows you \u2013 as a scientist, IT expert or interested person \u2013 to ask questions, vote on the relevance of questions, provide answers to open questions, and share knowledge at a later time. The goal is to create a sustainable source of practical information through community engagement. The community thrives on active participation. (*)<\/p>\n

An Initiative of the DKZ.2R<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Our colleagues at the Rhein-Ruhr Center for Scientific Data Competence (DKZ.2R)<\/a> have launched the RDM StackExchange initiative. If you would like to know more about DKZ.2R, please read our article<\/a> on the launch of the DKZ.2R.<\/p>\n

Why Is It Worth Participating?<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

RDM StackExchange entered \u201cprivate beta phase\u201d on January 20, 2025. This phase is designed to generate traffic, create a FAQ, and stimulate the community. If there is not enough traffic, the site will be closed.<\/p>\n

StackExchange does not want to become a collection of dead communities. Once a critical mass of interaction is reached, the “private beta” phase will be converted into a stable membership.<\/p>\n

So if you are interested in a low-threshold exchange platform for RDM, the RDM StackExchange is perfect for you. Ask questions and share your knowledge to keep the community alive and ensure that this source of knowledge is preserved for all who are interested.<\/p>\n
