From August 26 to 28, 2025, RWTH Aachen University will host the second Conference on Research Data Infrastructure<\/em> (CoRDI). The event will bring together stakeholders from academia, infrastructure, and the community to discuss the current state and future of research data management (RDM).<\/p>\n

The conference is organized by the National Research Data Infrastructure<\/a> (NFDI) in close cooperation with RWTH. The venue is the C.A.R.L. lecture hall center, which offers modern facilities and a central location, providing ideal conditions for a lively conference atmosphere.<\/p>\n

Eight Tracks \u2013 Disciplinary and Interdisciplinary<\/span><\/h3>\n

The conference program covers a wide range of topics. A total of eight tracks divide the content into disciplinary and interdisciplinary focal points. In addition to contributions from the humanities and social sciences, natural sciences, life sciences, and engineering, cross-disciplinary perspectives will also be addressed.<\/p>\n

The interdisciplinary tracks deal, for example, with education in the field of RDM (\u201cEducating RDM\u201d), the social and scientific impact (\u201cImpact of RDM\u201d), contextual issues (\u201cRDM in Context\u201d) and infrastructural foundations (\u201cRDM Infrastructures\u201d). The tracks will be led by experienced experts from all over Germany, including several people with ties to RWTH.<\/p>\n

Exchange, Networking, and Visibility<\/span><\/h3>\n

In addition to lectures and discussions, CoRDI 2025 will be complemented by a poster session, keynotes, and a \u201cmarket of opportunities.\u201d Here, projects, tools, and initiatives in the field of FDM can be showcased and explored in an accessible format. The aim is to connect participants from different fields and promote practical exchange.<\/p>\n
