The English-language FDM-Werkstatt<\/a> will take place in D\u00fcsseldorf from March 23 to 25, 2026. The community format is dedicated to practical Research Data Management tools and is aimed at researchers, data stewards, and anyone else who is interested, regardless of their level of experience.<\/p>\n

The focus is on interactive hands-on sessions in which various applications are tried out and discussed together. The program covers topics ranging from data management planning and documentation to analysis and collaborative working methods within the RDM community.<\/p>\n

RWTH Aachen University will also be represented with several contributions. Among other things, Coscine, RDMO, ROOT Tools, and Python-based workflows will be presented. In addition, RWTH staff will present a contribution on knowledge exchange and peer-to-peer structures within the community.<\/p>\n

The event offers the opportunity to gain practical experience with RDM tools, network with other institutions, and gain new inspiration for your own work context.
