April fand an der RWTH Aachen die <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.rwth-aachen.de\/forschungsdaten\/2024\/11\/28\/nfdi-matwerk-spring-school-in-aachen\/\">NFDI-MatWerk-Spring School<\/a> mit 22 engagierten Teilnehmenden aus ganz Deutschland statt. Die heterogene Gruppe setzte sich aus Doktoranden, Postdoktoranden und Forschenden zusammen, die sowohl mit experimentellen als auch mit Simulationsdaten arbeiten. Drei Tage lang vertieften sie sich in intensiven Vortr\u00e4gen, praktischen Workshops und lebhaften Diskussionen zum Thema Forschungsdatenmanagement (FDM) in den Materialwissenschaften und im Ingenieurwesen.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #00549f;\"><strong>Zu den H\u00f6hepunkten der Veranstaltung z\u00e4hlten:<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Eine Keynote von Prof. Stefan Sandfeld vom <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fz-juelich.de\/de\">Forschungszentrum J\u00fclich<\/a> zur Rolle der KI in der Materialforschung.<\/li>\n<li>Einf\u00fchrungen in die Grundlagen von FDM, Metadatenmanagement und digitale Laborabl\u00e4ufe.<\/li>\n<li>Interaktive Sessions zu Python-Tools, PyIron und elektronischen Labornotizb\u00fcchern.<\/li>\n<li>Eine gef\u00fchrte Laborbesichtigung am <a href=\"https:\/\/www.muw.rwth-aachen.de\/cms\/materialwissenschaft-und-werkstofftechni\/die-fachgruppe\/institute-und-lehrstuehle\/~uhy\/institut-fuer-metallkunde-und-metallphysi\/\">Institut f\u00fcr Metallkunde und Materialphysik<\/a> (IMM), bei der praktische Implementierungen digitaler Arbeitsabl\u00e4ufe vorgestellt wurden.<\/li>\n<li>Soziale Aktivit\u00e4ten, wie z. Atmosph\u00e4re und die anwendbaren Ergebnisse, die w\u00e4hrend des gesamten Programms vermittelt wurden. Die Veranstaltung wurde von Katharina Gr\u00fcnwald (RWTH Aachen\/IT Center), Dr. Flavio Soldera (Universit\u00e4t des Saarlandes\/EUSMAT) und Dr. Pranav Nayak (Universit\u00e4t des Saarlandes) in enger Zusammenarbeit mit NFDI-MatWerk organisiert.<\/p>\n<p>Der Erfolg der NFDI-MatWerk Spring School unterstreicht die Bedeutung von FAIR-Forschungsdatenpraktiken und die wachsende Gemeinschaft von Materialwissenschaftlern, die sich f\u00fcr offene Wissenschaft engagieren.
