Dear CLAIX Users,<\/p>\n

At the start of the week, your $HOME<\/code> and $WORK<\/code> directories were migrated from the old NFS filesystem to our new GPFS system. From your perspective, the access mode did not change \u2014 \u00a0your files are still where you left them.<\/p>\n

This change has two primary effects for you:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Your $HOME<\/code> and $WORK<\/code> directories now have a file quota limit of 1 million files.<\/li>\n
  2. Your $HOME<\/code> directory now offers 250 GB of storage space.<\/li>\n
  3. GPFS should offer better I\/O performance than the old NFS system.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
