DESCRIPTION:Name: Modern C++ Software Design (Intermediate) \nDate: August 31–September 4\, 2026\, 9am to 5pm \nFormat: online \nMore information & registration \n  \n\n  \nDescription\n\n\nShort abstract:\nThis course is an intermediate-level C++ programming course. \nIt is open to all employees and students of all universities in NRW. It is provided free of charge\, we only ask that you provide detailed constructive feedback at the end. \nThe course is organized by HPC.nrw and held by experienced trainer Slobodan Dmitrovic. \nDue to the high number of applications in previous courses\, participants will be put on a waiting list\, and then randomly selected. You will not receive a definite Yes/No answer before August 10\, 2026. \nPlease note that this is not advanced course. Previous experience with C++ strongly recommended. See also our Beginner course. \nThe course will take place from Monday\, August 31 to Friday\, September 4\, 2026\, from 9:00 – 17:00 on each day. It is an online course\, held via Zoom.

DESCRIPTION:Description\n\n\nWelcome to SciCoCo.nrw – Science\, Compute\, Connect – a hands‑on conference bringing together researchers\, software engineers\, data stewards and AI enthusiasts from across the region. \nSciCoCo.nrw will take place for the first time from 21 to 23 September 2026 at the IT Center of the RWTH Aachen University and will subsequently continue as an annual event at rotating HPC.nrw locations. Participation in the event is free of charge. \nOver three immersive days you’ll dive into skill‑ups\, community meet‑ups and collaborative bar‑camps\, while exploring a broad spectrum of cutting‑edge topics ranging from High‑Performance Computing and Research Software Engineering to Research Data Management\, Data Literacy and Artificial Intelligence. \nIn addition to interactive workshops\, SciCoCo.nrw features a lively poster session where innovative projects and emerging ideas take center stage\, fostering networking and knowledge exchange in a truly interactive setting.
