As of today, January 11, 2021, it will once again be possible to submit DFN user and server certificate applications in person at the IT Center. Applications will be accepted as usual at Seffenter Weg 23 at the upper entrance. In order to drop off your user and server certificate applications in person, you need to book an appointment via our appointment scheduler.
Do not forget: Certificate applications only upon presentation of an official, valid photo ID!

Certificate applications can be submitted Monday through Friday from 07:45 a.m. to 03:45 p.m.. Due to the constraints currently in place, access to the IT Center must still be coordinated. Therefore, it is not possible to submit without a set appointment. Please also remember that your certificate applications can only be accepted upon presentation of an official, valid photo ID.
We would also like to remind you once again of the generally applicable protective and hygienic measures for your visit:
- Wear mouth and nose protection inside the entire building.
- Disinfect your hands after you have entered the building, before you meet our staff.
- Please keep a safe distance of at least 2 meters.
- We will give you a smile, but refrain from shaking hands.
To avoid further inconvenience, please bring the following with you:
- Completed and signed server or user certificate application form
- Official, valid photo ID
- Mouth and nose protection
- Cell phone, in order to be granted access to the building on site
