As the central IT facility of RWTH Aachen University, the IT Center has stood for quality in a wide variety of areas for over 60 years. The IT Center supports the teaching and research tasks and central processes of the university and provides basic and individual services for the university institutions.
Digitization, cloud, security and the associated IT infrastructure – we encounter these terms in the media every day. At the IT Center, you are close to these developments and can make a difference in these areas. We work with the latest technologies and are therefore a successful IT service provider. In the department IT Process Support Research and Education we are looking for reinforcement for the development of the offers of the consortia NFDI4Microbiota and NFDI4MatWerk in the context of the National Research Data Infrastructure.
Wissenschaftliche*r Mitarbeiter*in (w/m/d)
IT-Sicherheit im Hochleistungsrechnen (HPC)
In the context of high performance computing at RWTH Aachen University you will work in a team with employees of the IT Center, as well as stakeholders at RWTH and other national partners. Your tasks will include the verification of security policies and methods as well as the evaluation and implementation of new technologies for IT security.

As part of the Identity Management at RWTH Aachen University, you will support the project management in the implementation, communication and coordination of a federated Identity Management for the universities in NRW and other federal states.

You will work on new and further development of web applications in the context of teaching, with a focus on the relaunch of the RWTHApp.
Softwareentwickler-*in im Bereich Web und Datenbank (w/m/d)
In the Systems and Operations department you are responsible for the development of web applications (frontend) with databases (backend). You will develop solutions for research, teaching and administrative processes together with customers and users in the RWTH Aachen University institutions.
Mitarbeiter*in in der NFDI4Ing Geschäftsstelle (w/m/d)
You will be part of the office for the consortium for the National Research Data Infrastructure for Engineering (NFID4Ing). Your tasks will include, for example, the independent consolidation and regular preparation of consortium-wide financial reports for internal and external committees as well as the independent preparation of regular projections.
Mitarbeiter*innen im 1st-Level Support (w/m/d)
You will be part of the IT ServiceDesk, which is the single point of contact for all inquiries regarding the IT Center’s own and cooperatively provided (IT) services.
IT-Mitarbeiter*in mit Schwerpunkt Support und Entwicklung
The focus of this exciting role is on support and the development of tools that support and also develop the organization of support.
Linux-Administrator*/in (w/m/d)
As part of the services in the Systems and Operations department, you will be responsible for supporting the team for Linux-based applications.
