Did you also attend the Welcome Week before the start of the semester? This series of events offers international students in particular the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the services and processes of RWTH Aachen University.<\/p>\n<p>The IT Center was present again this year. On March 23, 2023, we gave a live digital presentation on our IT services. On March 30, 2023, we were even live on site at the Freshers&#8217; Fair, offering advice and support to new students. The following blog post is a follow-up of the Welcome Week and also includes assistance for a successful semester.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #00549f;\">&#8220;Making Use of IT Services&#8221;<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Our colleague Jelena \u0106ulum gave a presentation on &#8220;Making Use of IT Services&#8221; in a video conference on Zoom. This way, students were able to learn about the IT Center&#8217;s IT services and also ask questions about them directly. The Freshers&#8217; Fair is an information fair that takes place as part of Welcome Week. Here, students can inform themselves about the various institutions and facilities at RWTH Aachen University &#8211; and this year was no exception. Our colleagues Jelena \u0106ulum and Anton von der Linde were available for the new students, advised the first-timers and provided them with goodies.
