The focus was primarily on the new version 4.1, which was introduced in March 2023.<\/p>\n<p>A total of 36,167 people who actively used at least one learning space in the summer semester of 2023 were invited to take part in the survey in July. This means that not only students were addressed, but also all learning space managers, supervisors and other participants. 1,876 people took the opportunity to give their feedback and contribute to the long-term optimization of RWTHmoodle and its support services.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #00549f;\">First Insights Into the Results<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>RWTHmoodle was evaluated in school grades from 1 (very good) to 5 (poor). This year, participants gave the platform an average grade of 2.48 (2022: 1.97; 2021: 2.29; 2020: 1.92).<\/p>\n<p>RWTHmoodle support received a score of 2.11 in the survey (2022: 1.93; 2021: 2.17; 2020: 1.85; 2019: 2.28), with faculty giving it a better score than students at 1.89. Of those who needed help or support, most used email support.<\/p>\n<p>For the statement &#8220;Overall, RWTHmoodle is reliable,&#8221; the average score was higher than in the last two years (2022: average score 3.63; 2021: average score 3.21).\u00a0 This means that RWTHmoodle scores better this time than last year in terms of reliability.<\/p>\n<p>However, a different picture emerges for the performance. This was rated significantly worse. For example, the statement &#8220;Overall, RWTHmoodle responds quickly&#8221; has a mean value of 3.60 this year, while in 2022 it was 4.07 on a scale of 1 (strongly disagree) to 5 (strongly agree).<\/p>\n<p>The reliability of Opencast also deteriorated compared with the previous year (mean score in 2022: 3.63). However, with a mean of 3.14, reliability was rated better than 2 years ago (mean 2021: 2.33).<\/p>\n<p>In the questions about the new version, it is clear that users want quick access to their learning spaces and tend to not use the dashboard. For example, participants almost fully agreed with the statement &#8220;I would like to access my learning spaces directly from the dashboard.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>This is also evident in the preference of the four most important elements on the dashboard.
