These young talents, who are being trained as mathematical-technical software developers, were warmly welcomed to the IT Center on September 3.<\/p>\n<p>There was also an exciting program for our new MATSEs on September 5, which we have summarized in this blog post.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #00549f;\">Collecting Points at the MATSE Rally<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The MATSE welcome took place on Monday, September 3. The winners were delighted to receive a writing set from RWTH Aachen University. The team in second place received the RWTH keytool as a prize and the team in third place was awarded an RWTH mug as a prize.<\/p>\n<p>Creativity was also required: at the &#8220;flashlight storm&#8221; station, each group had to spontaneously present a situation. MATSEs are experts in mathematics, computer science, and programming and can apply their knowledge in areas such as web development, parallel programming, simulation, database development, data visualization, and more.<\/p>\n<p>Interested in learning more about the MATSE program?
