With warm words, congratulations and a small gift, he was honored for his many years of loyalty and commitment to the IT Center.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #00549f;\">Oktoberfest Olympics<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>As is the IT Center tradition, the Oktoberfest Olympics took place again this year. Some of the participants wore traditional costumes, complete with dirndls and lederhosen, giving the celebration the finishing touches. Food and drink were also well catered for. In addition to a wide range of drinks from the beverage cart, the popular food truck \u201cTom&#8217;s CurryCup\u201d \u2013 which was already a highlight from last year \u2013 provided culinary diversity. This meant that guests were able to toast with Bavarian specialties, such as a beer and a pretzel. At the food truck, guests could choose from a wide selection of French fries.
