While the students are studying, writing exams and waiting for their grades, the examiners may still be preparing the last exam study rooms, correcting and grading the exams.<\/p>\n<p>We have therefore collected useful information for lecturers on the topics of exam study rooms in RWTHmoodle, assigning grades and viewing exams in RWTHmoodle.<\/p>\n<p>You can also read our articles on the <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.rwth-aachen.de\/itc\/en\/2025\/02\/03\/basics-an-der-rwth-rwthmoodle\/\">basics of RWTHmoodle<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.rwth-aachen.de\/itc\/en\/2024\/04\/03\/rwthonline-how-to-lv-pv-anmeldung\/\">ABC of exam registration<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.rwth-aachen.de\/itc\/en\/2024\/09\/30\/rwthmoodle-finde-deine-passende-anleitung\/\">general instructions for RWTHmoodle<\/a>. Students should contact the <a href=\"mailto:zpa@zhv.rwth-aachen.de\">ZPA<\/a> if they have entered incorrect grades.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #00549f;\">Exam Study Rooms in RWTHmoodle<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Exam study rooms do not refer to study rooms in which an exam is written. Rather, they are used to prepare for and follow up on exams. RWTHmoodle is not intended for conducting electronic examinations and therefore Dynexite must be used.<\/p>\n<p>To be able to create an examination learning room, you need the \u2018PV examination date management\u2019 or \u2018PV examination date management administration\u2019 function for RWTHonline. The learning room can be requested via the \u2018Exam management\u2019 application. Click on the relevant exam and reserve a room. As we need a learning room in RWTHmoodle, we therefore select an external location in the \u2018Filter\u2019 menu and \u2018RWTHmoodle learning room for exam preparation and revision\u2019 as the resource. The authorisation profile should be set to \u2018Book learning room in RWTHmoodle\u2019. We then click on \u2018Enter appointment for this room\u2019 and \u2018Save\u2019. The learning room will then be available the next day.<\/p>\n<p>You can find detailed instructions and information in the <a href=\"https:\/\/wiki-intern.rwth-aachen.de\/spaces\/RD\/pages\/114925780\/RWTHmoodle-Lernraum+eintragen#RWTHmoodleLernraumeintragen-1.2Lernraumbeantragenf%C3%BCrPr%C3%BCfungen\">Dokuportal<\/a>, which, however, is only accessible from the RWTH network.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #00549f;\">Awarding Grades<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The exams have been written and now the grades need to be entered in RWTHonline. Of course, not everyone can do this either, but only people with the appropriate function in RWTHonline. The function \u2018PV power recording (own exam)\u2019 or \u2018PV power recording\u2019 authorises this. This only applies to examinations at your own organisation.<\/p>\n<p>Grades are entered in two steps:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>The grade is entered.<\/li>\n<li>The grade is validated.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The grade can also be corrected by setting it to valid.<\/p>\n<p>When setting the validity, please note that only persons who are also registered as inspectors for the respective inspection are authorised to do so. If it is an exam that has taken place via Dynexite, you can view it in Dynexite.
