Also this year the almost traditional Welcome Week was started by the International Office. In addition to the International Office, the team for admissions matters, the Foreigners&#8217; Office and numerous advisory bodies and organisations were also present at this special introductory week. The IT Center took part again as well.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>The participants were supported in all aspects of study, organization and life at the RWTH. All important questions about the beginning of the semester &amp; Co. were answered with the help of presentations, consultations and the Fresher&#8217;s Fair in our Audimax.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\r\n\r\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Presentation of IT Services<\/h4>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>All beginnings are difficult &#8211; we know that. But it doesn&#8217;t have to be when it comes to the set-up of the IT Center&#8217;s basic IT Services. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.itc.rwth-aachen.de\/cms\/IT-Center\/IT-Center\/Team\/~epvp\/Mitarbeiter-CAMPUS-\/?lidx=1&amp;gguid=0x076EFD6C62ADCF4D868FB7134A14B07C&amp;allou=1\">Nicole Filla<\/a> &#8211; IT Center, Service &amp; Communication &#8211; informed about e.g. <a href=\"https:\/\/help.itc.rwth-aachen.de\/service\/b3d9a2c8ae5345b8b8f5128143ef4e3c\/article\/cbaa4207a17643ebb3347d62ce021336\/\">eduroam<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/help.itc.rwth-aachen.de\/en\/service\/8d9eb2f36eea4fcaa9abd0e1ca008b22\">RWTHmoodle<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/help.itc.rwth-aachen.de\/en\/service\/1jefzdccuvuch\">RWTH-Mail<\/a>, with an interactive talk about the IT-basics at the RWTH on Tuesday, September 24th.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>The audience followed attentively, even if in one or the other face still a little jetlag greeted. By the inclusion of the students into the presentation and some smiles, the keynote bundled up the most important information about the IT center and the available services. In addition to questions about ConnectMe coupon codes and eduroam, the new students were particularly interested in the range of IT services provided by the IT Center for students. It was a great experience for our IT Center colleagues to be able to make contact with so many nationalities. This was also true for the winter semester start 2019\/20. Despite modest weather conditions, we did not miss to be at the disposal of our RWTH Ersti-Rally. Our IT Center colleague <a href=\"https:\/\/www.itc.rwth-aachen.de\/cms\/IT-Center\/IT-Center\/Team\/~epvp\/Mitarbeiter-CAMPUS-\/?gguid=0x0EC9C01F8EFF104B810E20F8F5820CD8&amp;allou=1&amp;lidx=1\">Linda J\u00f6rres<\/a> and her reinforcement stood in front of the Super C.
