The aim is to promote the 100 best ideas for the education, science and innovation system of tomorrow.<\/p>\n<p>After the application phase had been completed in mid-September 2020, an expert advisory board selected the 100 best ideas (from a total of 500 applications) for the future of the education, science and innovation system. And the IT Center was among them &#8211; we reported on it in detail <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.rwth-aachen.de\/itc\/2020\/11\/20\/flex\/\">here on the blog<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Ever since then, a while has passed and synergies have emerged with different perspectives on the common theme, allowing for a holistic view of digital testing.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>Three universities, three federal states, one project<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The examination initiatives of Friedrich-Alexander-Universit\u00e4t Erlangen-N\u00fcrnberg (FAU Erlangen-N\u00fcrnberg), Rheinisch-Westf\u00e4lische Technische Hochschule Aachen (RWTH Aachen) and Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) have joined forces to form the &#8220;Pr\u00fcfung hoch III&#8221; collective. The cooperative project &#8220;Pr\u00fcfung hoch III&#8221; makes it possible to use synergies in the development of innovative examination formats and to cover the areas of didactics, technology and networking in equal measure.<\/p>\n<p>Initially coming into contact as individual projects of FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg, RWTH Aachen University and KIT as part of the anniversary initiative of the Stifterverband, the examination projects fulfilled the central mission of &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.stifterverband.org\/wirkunghoch100\">Effect to the power of 100<\/a>&#8221; &#8220;Together instead of side by side&#8221; by joining forces. The content-related didactic perspective, the networking of and with stakeholders, and innovative technologies in the context of digital testing form the project&#8217;s fields of action. The promotion of digital competence and equal opportunities through digital examinations, the expansion of opportunities for qualitative feedback from teachers and the associated increase in student satisfaction form the motivation for &#8220;Pr\u00fcfung hoch III&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>In the context of the project, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ili.fau.de\/\">Institute for Learning Innovation<\/a> at FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg aims to develop various e-examination scenarios. The focus will be on the didactic embedding of artificial intelligence, support and advice for teachers, and the added value of digital examinations for teachers and students. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.itc.rwth-aachen.de\/cms\/~epto\/IT-Center\/\">IT Center<\/a> of RWTH Aachen University deals with questions of the technical feasibility of digital examinations. The RWTH Aachen&#8217;s scope of action ranges from compiling technical solutions and best practices to developing new technologies. Meanwhile, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hnd-bw.de\/\">University Network for Digitization of Teaching Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg<\/a> (HND-BW) is dedicated to building a network of relevant stakeholders. In constant exchange with e-examination experts, users at universities, teachers, learners, but also representatives from politics, administration and civil society, the desired competence cluster for digital examinations is emerging.
