Unsere Kollegin Uta Christoph und Kollegen Marius Politze und Bernd Decker verfassten das Paper, welches die Software der RWTH Aachen University zur Unterst\u00fctzung des Qualit\u00e4tsmanagements der Lehre vorstellt.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Qualit\u00e4tssicherung in Studium und Lehre<\/h4>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>Das Strategiekonzept exzellente Lehre der RWTH setzt sich zum Ziel, die Qualit\u00e4tssicherung in Studium und Lehre voranzutreiben. Dar\u00fcber hinaus muss die Universit\u00e4t die Anforderungen des Bologna-Prozesses erf\u00fcllen. Um eine kontinuierliche Verbesserung der Lehre f\u00fcr alle Studieng\u00e4nge zu erm\u00f6glichen, hat die RWTH ein Qualit\u00e4tsmanagementsystem etabliert, das auf den Qualit\u00e4tszielen der Lehre der RWTH basiert und alle Fakult\u00e4ten und Interessengruppen einbezieht. Dieses System wurde 2018 akkreditiert.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>Zur Unterst\u00fctzung dieser Qualit\u00e4tsmanagementprozesse und der Systemakkreditierung entwickelte das IT Center eine SharePoint-basierte Webanwendung. Diese Daten werden aggregiert, sicher \u00fcbertragen (\u00fcber verschl\u00fcsselte Webservices und HTTPS-gesch\u00fctzte Verbindungen) und anonym in einer Zwischendatenbank der Anwendung gespeichert. Der direkte Zugriff auf diese Datenbank ist nur f\u00fcr Administratoren m\u00f6glich.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>Autorisierte Benutzer haben \u00fcber die Benutzeroberfl\u00e4che der Webanwendung Zugriff auf hochaggregierte, spezifische Berichte. Der Zugriff wird \u00fcber das universit\u00e4tsweite Identit\u00e4tsmanagementsystem gesteuert.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>Die Webanwendung bietet KPI-Berichte (Key Performance Index) f\u00fcr die Studiengangsevaluationen und externe Audits. Durch Parametrisierung k\u00f6nnen sie an spezifische Studieng\u00e4nge, Semester, Nationalit\u00e4ten und andere Merkmale angepasst werden. Our colleagues Uta Christoph, Marius Politze, and Bernd Decker wrote this paper that presents RWTH Aachen University\u2019s software to support quality management in teaching and learning.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Quality assurance in studies and teaching<\/h4>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>RWTH\u2019s Excellent Teaching strategy sets the goal to advance quality assurance in studies and teaching. Additionally, the university needs to meet the requirements posed by the Bologna Process. To allow a continuous improvement of teaching for all courses of studies, RWTH established a quality management system based on the goals set by RWTH\u2019s Teaching Quality Objectives involving all faculties and interested groups. This system was accredited in 2018.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>The IT Center developed a SharePoint-based web application to support these quality management processes and system accreditation. This data is aggregated, passed on securely (via encrypted web services and HTTPS-protected connections), and stored anonymously in the application\u2019s interim database. Direct access to this database is only possible for administrators.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>Authorized users have access to highly aggregated, specific reports via the web application\u2019s user interface. Access is controlled via the university wide identity management system.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>The web application provides KPI (key performance index) reports for course evaluations and external audits. They can be customized to specific study programmes, semesters, nationalities and other properties via parameterisation.
