We are couple of students from the institutes AICES, CATS, IGPM, STCE, MathCCES, and NLD of the RWTH Aachen University, who felt the urge to improve the communication across the different research groups. We are joint under the Society of Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM)<\/a> in order to further the application of mathematics to industry and science.<\/p>\n But our curiosity goes beyond this. We feel that a lot more groups than just the mathematicians and the computational engineering scientists are working on exciting projects that are in touch with applied mathematics.<\/p>\n So whether you are a mathematician, an engineer, or from a completely\u00a0different field: if you get in touch with applied mathematics in your\u00a0research and you are interested in an interdisciplinary exchange of\u00a0ideas and knowledge, we would be very interested to share both with you!<\/p>\n If you want to get more information, or become a member<\/a> right away, check out our Events & Activities<\/a> and feel free to contact us<\/a>!
