We will start the\u00a0 series with seminars on <strong>Artificial Intelligence and its influence on society.\u00a0 <\/strong>SIAM Student members will present on the following topics:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><em>History of Artificial Intelligence<\/em>: Movies + Examples (21.08.2015, Julian &amp; Malte)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><em>Definition of AI<\/em> (28.08.2015, <strong>already at 10am<\/strong>, Loic &amp; Eduard)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><em>Machine learning <\/em>(11.09.2015, Thomas)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">Big Data &amp; Machine Learning (18.09.2015, Fabian)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">Google&#8217;s deep Learning (25.09.2015, Jeyahsree)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><em>Industrial vs. digital Revolution <\/em>(02.10.2015,\u00a0<strong>already at 10am<\/strong>, Michael)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><em>Threats and Challenges<\/em> (09.10.2015, Sheng Ying)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">Discussion on further topics (23.10.2015, 9:30am)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Schedule the next topic of the Seminar (02.11.2015, 11am, MathCCES kitchen)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Presentations will be followed by illuminative discussions from the audience.
