On 1st June, Chongqing government held the 2016 health reform job meeting, i.e. the initial meeting of general health reforms pilots. This year, Chongqing is listed in the second batch of national general health reform pilots at the provincial level. There are 12 new pilot districts and counties for the public hospitals\u2019 reform. According to the requirements, there are at least two public hospitals in each district implementing the reform, which should start before the end of June. Municipal hospitals should start the reform before the end of the year according to the principle of \u201cOne hospital, one scheme\u201d. It is said that the drug mark-up will be comprehensively cancelled in the reform. County-level hospitals get a compensation by medicine service fee.
