On 10th May, the journalist from Beijing Business Today got the information from Beijing Municipal Administration of Hospitals that a general pharmacist council will start this year in Beijing. There will be seven general pharmacists from famous hospitals. They will lead municipal hospitals to switch to pharmaceutical service in different approaches to push the health reform. It is said that there are seven positions in the general pharmacist council, covering the professional field of drug supply, rational drug use, pharmaceutical service, etc. The term of office of first batch general pharmacists is four years. After a series of strict hiring processes, they all come from the pharmacy departments of 3A hospitals, such as Chaoyang Hospital, Tiantan Hospital and Anzhen Hospital. In their terms of office, they will combine the medical development plan with the current pharmaceutical situation of municipal hospitals and generally push pharmacy change.
