On 29th<\/sup> July, Tmall pharmacy sent the notification to all online stores that the online drugs transactions will be stopped from 1st<\/sup> August. On 30th<\/sup> July Tmall pharmacy confirmed this news and said that according to the policy requirement from CFDA and Hebei Food and Drug Administration, the online drug retail business will be stopped. It is said that the reason for stopping the pilot Internet third-party platform of online drug retail is that some problems are exposed during the pilot process. For example, the responsibility of the third-party platform and the main body of the entity pharmacy is not clarified clearly; it is difficult to supervise the sale of prescribed drugs, and the safety and quality of drugs, which is not beneficial to protect the profit and drug safety of customers.
