Recently, 9 ministries and commissions, including the National Health and Family Planning Commission, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the Ministry of Commerce, the State Administration of Taxation, the State Administration for Industry and Commerce, and the CFDA, announced the working focus on the renovation of the bad practice in medicine purchase and medication service in 2016. It is mentioned in the announcement that a cost price traceable system should be set up, so that the whole process of the medicine purchase can be managed according to the standards. Irregular and illegal actions, such as linked business, commercial bribery, production and operation of fake drugs and false advertising, will be strictly struck.
