Dangdang, one of China\u2019s leading e-commerce sites, intends to enter the online pharmaceutical market in the near future. CEO Guoqing Li stated today in an interview, \u201cDangdang has already applied with the State Food and Drug Regulatory Agency for a license to sell medicine online.\u201d An industry insider says Dangdang\u2019s probable partner in the venture is Sinopharm (1099.HK), a leading Chinese pharmaceutical products distributor.
