Bereits zum 22. Mal fand in diesem Jahr der EUNIS-Kongress (European University Information Systems) statt. Die Mission der EUNIS ist es allen teilnehmenden Institutionen eine Plattform zu bieten, auf deren Basis es möglich ist Erfahrungen und Ideen auszutauschen und die IT-Landschaft weiter zu entwickeln.
In diesem Jahr versammelten sich über 300 Teilnehmer zu diesem Zweck in Thessaloniki, Griechenland und besuchten nicht nur den Kongress, sondern nutzten auch das umfassende Angebot an Workshops und Seminaren. Im Rahmen der Veranstaltung wurde auch der begehrte „Best Paper Award EUNIS 2016“ verliehen. Dieses Mal würdigte die Jury des international ausgerichteten Wettbewerbs Herrn Marius Politze, Steffen Schaffert und Bernd Decker vom IT Center RWTH Aachen für ihr Paper “A secure infrastructure for mobile blended learning applications” das die Entwicklung einer Infrastruktur für den sicheren mobilen Datenzugriff thematisiert.

Winner of the Best Paper Award EUNIS 2016
Already for the 22nd time this year the EUNIS-congress (European University Information System) took place. The mission of the EUNIS is to offer a platform for all attending institutions on which base it is possible to exchange experience and ideas and to develop the IT-scenery.
This year over 300 participants gathered in Thessaloniki, Greece for this purpose and not only visited the congress but also benefited from the wide offer of workshops and seminars. Also, in the context of this event, the popular “Best Paper Award EUNIS 2016” was awarded. This time the jury of the international aligned competition honored Mr. Marius Politze, Steffen Schaffert and Bernd Decker of the IT Center Aachen for their paper “A secure infrastructure for mobile blended learning applications” that discusses the development of an infrastructure for the save mobile data access.
