Das häufig genutzte RWTHmoodle Plug-In „PDF-Annotation“ wurde diesen Monat in das Moodle Plug-In Hauptverzeichnis aufgenommen. Darüber hinaus hat das Plug-In Reviewers‘ Choice Award erhalten. Diese Auszeichnung erhalten Moodle Plug-Ins, welche von den Reviewern als besonders nützlich, gut programmiert oder ausgesprochen interessant erachtet wurden.

„PDF-Annotation“ ist eine Eigenentwicklung des IT Centers in Kooperation mit dem Center für Lehr- und Lernservices (CLS). Das Plug-In ermöglicht den Studierenden, Fragen, Kommentare und Anmerkungen zu Lernmaterialien im PDF-Format direkt im Lernraum in das Dokument einzufügen. Da alle Studierenden und Dozierenden, die sich im Lernraum befinden, die gestellten Fragen und Kommentare lesen und beantworten können, ist es somit einfacher, offene Fragen zu Vorlesungsfolien, Skripten und anderen PDF-Lernmaterialien schnell und in einem konkreten Zusammenhang zu klären.

The frequently used RWTHmoodle Plug-In „PDF-Annotation“ has been added to the Moodle plugin directory early this month. Furthermore, the Plug-In received the Reviewers‘ Choice Award. This award is given to Moodle plugins that have been judged by reviewers to be particularly useful, well coded or particularly interesting.

„PDF Annotation“ is a self-developed plugin of the IT Center in cooperation with the Center for Teaching and Learning Services (CLS). The plugin enables students to insert questions, comments and remarks on learning materials in PDF format directly into the document in the course room. Since all students and lecturers who are in the course room can read and answer the questions and comments, it is easier to clarify open questions about lecture slides, scripts and other PDF learning materials quickly and in a concrete context.
