On December 12, 2025, it was that time of year again: the IT Center’s annual Christmas party brought colleagues, former employees, and family members together to end the year in a festive atmosphere. With a wintery atmosphere, good food, and a varied program, the celebrations continued into the evening.
An Atmospheric Start
The festivities began with a warm welcome from the IT Center’s managing director, Daniel Bündgens. In a short speech, he looked back on the special moments and successes of the past year and thanked all employees for their commitment. His appreciative words created a warm, festive atmosphere right from the start and set the tone for a successful evening.

A cozy atmosphere awaited guests in the festively decorated foyer on Kopernikusstraße. Punch, cocoa, and mulled wine welcomed them at the entrance, while inside there was plenty of space for conversations, reunions, and new encounters.
There was also singing: Lena Becker gave a special performance, accompanied on the piano by Nils Neumann. Many thanks to Jonas Hirschler, who provided the piano and accompanied the singing, including well-known songs such as “In der Weihnachtsbäckerei” and “Jingle Bells.”
This year, tours of the AixCave and the cluster were also offered – the perfect opportunity for anyone who had not yet had the chance to visit them.
A Festive Meal

Of course, a Christmas celebration also includes a festive meal. The get-together was enriched by a diverse selection of dishes: from red cabbage and potato gratin to pork, turkey, and vegan alternatives, there was something for every taste. The sweet finale was not to be outdone either. Some employees provided a diverse selection of desserts with homemade cookies, cakes, and various Christmas specialties, such as stollen confections.
Doing Good Together
In addition to celebrating, the focus was also on social issues: this year’s fundraising campaign supported Aachener Engel e.V. Thanks to everyone’s generosity, a considerable amount was raised.
Special thanks go to the dedicated party team, whose hard work made the organization and smooth running of the celebration possible. We would also like to thank the IT Center management for their support and for making such joint celebrations possible every year.
Looking Forward to the Coming Year
The 2025 Christmas party was a complete success and will remain in many people’s memories for a long time to come. With a great atmosphere, warm conversations, and numerous shared moments, the IT Center bid farewell to the Christmas season. We are already looking forward to the next Christmas party and another year of collaboration and community.
