Cheers to Summer – And to the IT Center!

Sunshine, barbecue aromas, and lots of good cheer – on July 11, 2025, the IT Center held its annual summer party. And this time, the weather gods were smiling on us: instead of continuous rain like last year, employees were able to enjoy a dry summer party and were even rewarded with a few rays of sunshine.
Company Excursion 2025 – A Complete Success Despite the Rain!

Rain in the morning, sun in the afternoon, and good spirits all day long: That’s probably the best way to sum up this year’s IT Center company excursion. On May 28, 2025, it was time for employees to get out of the office and into adventure! Once again, the day was all about team spirit, variety, and fun with a colorful program of knowledge, nature, water activities, and cozy get-togethers. More on our previous company excursions can be found in our blog entries.
Despite the less than inviting weather in the morning, no one let it spoil the mood. And as is so often the case, perseverance was rewarded: as the day progressed, the sky cleared and the sun came out just in time for the joint finale in the afternoon.
CodeClubMG Visit to the Chair of HPC

On April 23, 2024, we had the pleasure of welcoming a group of dedicated CodeClubMG students to the Chair of High Performance Computing (Computer Science 12). The visit was organized by Tom Hilgers, Master student of Computer Science and part of the operational management of CodeClubMG. “With the excursion, we bring the students closer to the world of computer science. We were able to show them that computer science is not just about programming, but a very diverse subject area,” Tom tells us.
