Love Data Week 2025 is right around the corner. We took a look at the national program and rounded up our favorite events for you. Join us from February 10 to 14, 2025, fall in love with your research data all over again, and refresh your RDM knowledge!

Love Data Week (LDW) is an international week of action around research data and RDM, celebrated annually during the week around Valentine’s Day. During this week, a variety of events take place, ranging from short, compact presentations on current topics in the form of coffee talks or info snacks, to workshops and networking events, to more interactive formats such as Q&A sessions, office hours or panel discussions.

Data Infosnacks, Online Workshops and Personal Exchange – A Wide Range of Events During Love Data Week

This year, we would particularly like to highlight the extensive and very appealing program of the University of Cologne, some of which is also publicly accessible online. Every day at noon, you can expand your RDM knowledge about research data and code management with the HeFDI Data Infosnacks!

The RWTH hosts two practice-oriented online workshops on the Coscine RDM platform and a coffee lecture on February 12, 2025 on developing data management plan templates in RDMO (Reserach Data Management Organiser) entitled “Developing DMP Templates with RDMO – the new editor’s guide”.

In addition, a member of the RDM team will be available daily at the University Library to answer your questions about RDM at RWTH. Just come to the information desk on the ground floor (Templergraben 61) between 4:30pm and 7pm or on Saturday between 10am and 1 pm!
