That Was the Young Academics Day 2024

On September 5, 2024, it was that time again: the RWTH Young Academics Day (YAD) for young academics took place in the SuperC of RWTH Aachen University. PhD students and postdocs at RWTH were invited to network, exchange ideas and reflect on their own career paths and decisions through inspiring lectures, as well as to be inspired by the services offered by RWTH. The RDM team from RWTH was also there to present the services of research data management (RDM) at the “marketplace”.

And it is precisely this key competence of data literacy that is the focus of the data.RWTH project. Since 2021, data literacy has been taught to students of all subjects in a multi-perspective and fundamental way as part of the data.RWTH program, which consists of online courses. This inclusion in the second call for Route 1 expert support marks an important step for both organizations and the further development of their services.
